  • Noise level and air quality are excellent in this elevated and quiet part of the city and in this particular area there is almost no traffic at all. However, bus stops are in the immediate vicinity.

We have subsequently received offers from the majority of land owners in and around Nerja over the past year and can state that the prices have risen to the point that we will not be able to offer anything similar to Colina Alta, 2 bedrooms for under €300,000, for a long time in the future - if ever.
  • At the end of August, it was found that the prices of housing were 4.9% higher in July than the same month a year ago, and it is mainly new development that is rising in price as the demand for used housing has fallen. Update August 2022:

When you read the Swedish newspapers, you can easily get the impression that everything is delayed and that everything has become more expensive, etc. This is not a general truth. This project Colina de Alta in Nerja, as an example, started construction earlier this year and is currently about 3 months ahead of schedule. It is true that certain materials have become more expensive, but other materials have become cheaper. Prices may still go up a bit of course, but as it stands now several builds, provided they put in correctly calculated safety margins, around Spain will stay on budget as the prices of materials and supplies normalize over the summer. Not all buildings will be more expensive than estimated, and some will end up just slightly over budget. This building community had really good prices when we launched it and the location as you can see in the picture below from the building is excellent! Finally, we would like to add that we are very satisfied with the construction company and they will definitely be commissioned to build more of our future projects. Unique opportunity to buy new development in Nerja

The land we are currently negotiating around the Costa del Sol has already stopped going down in price as the situation (prices on Colina Alta de Nerja were negotiated in the autumn) after all the positive vaccine announcements are markedly more optimistic. Land prices behave like the stock market. You take into account how you think the situation will look 6-18 months down the line. Another reason that we have brought the prices down so significantly is that this is a so-called construction team. Read more about it here . About the local area:

It is a quiet and well-maintained area. The popular market in Nerja on Tuesdays is organized right nearby. Colina is also conveniently located to gyms, tennis courts, swimming pools and the supermarkets Mercadona and Supersol. Bus stop nearby. Taxi to town or beach for approx. €5. Rental potential

We are more than happy to include apartments in this project in our rental portfolio . The demand for newly produced is strong in central Nerja, but the supply is very limited. Most of it was built in the 70s and 90s and is starting to wear out. New apartments thus have a big advantage in this strong rental market. Colina's location in a quiet area, but still within easy walking distance to the center, as well as the beach (1.5 km to burriana beach, 1 km to the center) combined with spacious terraces with sea views, and access to a pool where only residents have access, is exactly what both buyers and renters are looking for right now and probably for quite some time to come. The time of the large, completely open and impersonal complexes is over.

  • They have also given a million boost to the area's nature tourism. Nerja invests in sustainable quality tourism and is working to obtain the "Plan de Calidad Turística" certificate.
  • Sustainability and Quality are the keywords for Nerja's investment, and this includes, among other things, an investment in the nature parks at Sierra Almijara and Maro.
  • It has also been decided to build a new cycle path to Maro (where the caves are located) along the old N-340.
  • Several streets are being renovated, a new amphitheater is being built and a new library is being built in the historic parts of Nerja, and a new health center in the city.
  • The long-awaited new Marina that the municipalities of Torrox and Nerja want to see completed in the next few years will hopefully reach a financial solution already in 2021.
  • The Nerjas Reningsverk is in its final construction phase (it has been in a test phase since October) and will be completed in 2021.
