A total of 131 apartments will be built in new development in Isea Calaceite , approximately 10 minutes by car from Nerja , in the municipality of Torrox Phase 1 consisted of around 50 apartments which were completed in 2021.

About Phase 2 Isea Calaceite

  • The ground floor apartments have gardens with direct access to the community pool.
  • Kitchen included, with freezer and dishwasher, etc.
  • Community pools (one for adults and one for children) and green areas with outdoor gym.
  • If you are interested, we recommend that you simply come down to look at the place. The area is experienced by some as "desolate", while others appreciate that it is a bit remote. About the apartments in Isea Calaceite

Common questions:

Construction time? The first phase was completed in 2021. It is still unclear when phase 2 will be completed, but phase 1 took about 2 years.

What does the payment plan look like? €3000 upon reservation, then 20% (minus the €3000) upon signing the purchase contract. Then 10% after 6 months, and another 10% after another 6 months. The rest, 60%, is paid upon deed.

Is a kitchen included? Yes, kitchen included. Oven, stove, fan, washing machine, and refrigerator, etc.

The bathrooms are fully tiled and equipped with white sanitary ware.

Possibility of financing? The builders are in negotiations with the bank, but this may take time. However, we have spoken to a Swedish-speaking bank director in the area with whom we collaborate. They agree to a 60% loan for Isea Calaceite . It is also possible to get a "loan promise" before you come down if you are unsure whether you will be granted a loan or not (you send the documents the bank requests and they tell you in advance whether you will be approved or not). However, you need to invest 40% in equity under any circumstances. The loan is only activated upon moving in. You therefore do not have to pay interest during the construction period.

Is it possible to influence the appearance/choice of materials, floors, tiles, kitchen etc.? Yes, there is some room for this for those who book an apartment early (while construction is in progress). You can then choose between 2 different types of bathroom tiles and kitchen doors.

Area pools? Yes, there is a pool belonging to the area for both adults and children (1 separate children's pool).

Storage and parking are included with each apartment.

Are there restaurants nearby? Yes, along the beach. If you want to shop in stores, you have to go to Torrox or Nerja. Calaceite is more of an area for those who seek peace. There is not much life and movement around.

Community Fee You don't know exactly what it will be until it is built, but community fees and annual tax are generally low in these areas. Around €1500-2000 a year.

How much can a 2 bedroom apartment be expected to bring in per year in rental income? Occupancy in Torrox is not as high as within the borders of the municipality of Nerja, but based on figures for 2-bedroom apartments in the approximately 12-year-old complex in Calaceite, you can count on around €10,000 per year after the rental company's commission. However, there are no guarantees. It is conceivable that some "inflation" will occur and occupancy will be lower overall for the area. Time will tell. However, we are happy to include apartments for rent in our portfolio. This area is popular with Brits and we advertise in English portals.

NOTE! If the planned marina goes away, the rental potential and future value of these apartments will increase significantly! It will also, most likely, result in the prices of future phases in ISEA increasing sharply.   • 45-60 minute walk to Nerja. You then walk next to the country road.
  • About 11 minutes by car to Nerja
  • 5 minutes by car to Torrox Costa.
  • 30 minutes by car to Baviera golf (Anoreta golf is also close).
  • 51 minutes by car to Malaga airport.
  • 90 minutes to Sierra Nevada.
  • In the immediate area there is a beach and hiking trails, as well as the possibility to rent bicycles and kayaks, etc.

The beach is a 5-10 walk down from the area. It is very close, but you need to cross the coast road and go down the hill to the beach (Penoncillo).

Peñoncillo beach

Peñoncillo beach in Torrox is linked with Mazagarrobo beach which is about 1400 meters long, and 30 meters in width. The beach is relatively sheltered from homes and other buildings and is considered very quiet. It is also close to the N-340 road so it is easy to get to and from the beach for visitors.
