Regardless of the type of residence you are looking for in Spain, house in Nerja, apartment on the west Costa del Sol or a smaller villa inland, or if you prefer the Costa Blanca or Gran Canaria - we always aim to find the best possible investments for our customers, whether it is a bank repossession , new build or used.

Since the financial bubble collapsed in the fall of 2009, the price situation for those looking for housing abroad has changed significantly in Europe in general and in southern Spain in particular. Regardless of the price situation, there are always home owners who, for various reasons, have to sell as quickly as possible.

This is where our insider broker comes in (read our article on why it's time to buy now and not later, and what to consider when investing). If you have decided to invest in a villa or apartment in Spain, you can get hot tips via our broker Anders Larsson . The service consists of him calling or emailing directly, he receives information from home owners who have decided on a quick sale of the home, which can mean a really good deal for you.

Please note that you do not need to contact several brokers in the same location to get a complete range. If the object you are looking for is not included directly in our database, we will contact the home owner and any broker with exclusive rights, at no extra cost to you (the commission will instead be smaller for everyone involved).

About bank objects

Our advice is that you don't get hung up on bank items and headlines like "quick cuts". The prices are good as they are, and if you rush a purchase, it is easy to make a mistake. You should enjoy the area, and if you had not intended to live there all year round, it is important that the home is rentable . It is rarely really cheap housing located in an attractive area.

Unfortunately, some also seem to market homes as "bank objects" even though they are not, and entice with "100% financing" even when this is not the case. We try to stay out of this circus and aim for safer, long-term investments.

In fact, it is increasingly rare for any interesting bank item to come in at all. Once it does, it is important to act quickly, perhaps only with a few days' notice. For most, this is not a realistic scenario.

Furthermore, we do not advise anyone to invest in as cheap a home as possible in a "ghost town" (ie, where there are many empty apartments that banks own but no one wants to buy) with the entire loan in a Spanish bank (the interest rates can be very high). It was that type of business that caused Spain, and many other countries, to now suffer financially. Better invest in a home in an area that has been popular for a long time and that has weathered the crisis. It is these areas that will rise in value the most the next time the housing market rushes. Nerja is a shining example of such an area.
