Andalusia has a unique flora due to the varied geographical conditions of the landscape. In this landscape, wild animals and birds thrive, making Andalusia one of the more exciting areas in Europe to live in for nature lovers.

There are two major national parks in Andalusia:

The Doñana National Park that spreads out in Huelva and to some extent Seville Province. It is mainly the sand dunes inland and the unique, moving dunes towards the coast, as well as the wet marshland that are distinctive. Various types of migratory birds flock to the marshlands. Donana is famous for its wide variety of unusual animals and birds. Many of them are unfortunately endangered, such as the monk seal, the imperial eagle, the pink flamingo, the Pardel Lynx (lynx), etc. The wildlife here is also characterized by wild boar, mountain goats, deer, mouflon, storks, etc. The world-famous Andalusian horse, which is a mix of Spanish and Arabian horses, also originates from the region.
The second national park is the mountain Sierra Nevada beautiful national park.

In the high mountain area, the two snow-capped peaks stand out Mulhacen (3,482 m) and Veleta (3,392 m). These mountain peaks, which form town center of the national park, are the highest points on the entire Iberian Peninsula. A quarter of all the plants in Spain can be found in Sierra Nevada, and most are completely unique to the area. Sierra Nevada is teeming with exciting birds of prey such as the griffon vulture, the golden eagle and the peregrine falcon. In addition, birds such as the green woodpecker, finches, blue tits and tufted larks are found. In the forest areas, foxes, weasels and badgers are found, among others.
