The house is located by the church in the middle of the village, which has 250 inhabitants. From here you are close to the beach (25 min), culture/people's life in Granada (25 min), the ski resort in Sierra Nevada (40 min) and the small Moorish villages of the Alpujarra (40 min).
You can walk for miles through evergreen groves of orange, lemon, almond and olive trees. An Arab fort from the 12th century is also within walking distance. There are several golf courses within 30 minutes.
In Murchas there is a bakery and a small grocery store. In the neighboring village of Talará, 2 km from Murchas, there are several grocery stores, restaurants, bars, a bank, a pharmacy, a gas station, a doctor and a dentist.
The house was completely renovated in 2007 with very good taste to a high standard. The traditional Spanish style has been retained, while the house has been given a modern touch with fine material choices. Especially beautiful is the Spanish courtyard in Moorish style and the large the roof terrace which provides the opportunity to enjoy the mild climate and the fantastic view. Upstairs there is a large living room, which has a cozy corner with armchairs by the fireplace and a sofa corner with TV. On the same floor there is the master bedroom with en suite bathroom, a guest bedroom and a guest shower room.
On the top floor, in addition to the roof terrace , there is another bedroom with an en suite bathroom.
There are plenty of windows throughout the house, which provides good light. All windows have shutters and all rooms have beamed ceilings. The kitchen/dining room and living room have spotlights with dimmers.
