As previously mentioned, on March 22, it was announced that Nerja is investing in another new cycle path. The new project, which costs €660,000, will run from the connecting roundabout that leads to Burrianabeach in the eastern parts of the city, and all the way to Punta Lara in the west. The wide cycle path will go via Avenida de Pescia and N-340. Cycling from Punta Lara to Burrianabeach takes just 18 minutes.
