This area of newly built apartments is undoubtedly one of the best in Punta Prima. The location is excellent and the apartments are right on the sea. This new residential area is our former real estate agent Göran Larsson's (he worked as a real estate agent around Torrevieja for almost 15 years) personal favorite.

It is close to town center and restaurants and a bus stop if you want to go to Torrevieja, for example (10 minutes approximately). No car is needed here, which many people find an advantage. The distance to the airport in Alicante is less than 70 kilometers (fast motorway), and it is only 28 kilometers to the airport in Murcia (San Javier).
About the apartments in Punta Prima
These large, beautifully terracotta-coloured apartments are located just 50 m from the sea in Punta Prima, a few kilometres south of Torrevieja. The new the urbanisation is called La Recoleta.
- The apartments have 2-3 bedrooms, 2-3 bathrooms.
- All apartments have sea view from private terraces.
- It is a 50-meter walk to the several-kilometer long promenade (which is beautifully lit at night). You can walk to La Zenia, Cabo Roi, etc.
- Appliances included, marble floors in all rooms.
- Parking under the house and private lockable storage room under the house.
- A/C is included, so not just pre-installation for a/c (which is usual otherwise) but complete a/c.
- Pool/park area that is fenced.
- Near Punta Prima (about 100 meters) a recently renovated restaurant located right by the sea.

More about the area and Punta Prima
The residential area is located close to Punta Prima's shopping town center with restaurants and bars. Road n332 leads quickly straight into Torrevieja.
Punta Prima is a large urbanization (a few kilometers southwest of Torrevieja) consisting of a mix of apartments, townhouses and villas.
- The beaches are famous for their cleanliness and several have received so-called "Blue Flag" awards.
- There are several markets in Punta Prima and the most popular is Playa Flamenca which is held every Saturday morning.
- There are also several golf courses nearby.
- There are constant activities organized on the beach, and there are tennis clubs, gyms, etc. in the area.
- A popular excursion area is the beneficial and world-famous salt lakes located nearby. You can also see Pink Flamingos there.
- Fishing and sailing are other popular activities in the area.
The climate is excellent and the sea breeze cools in the summer while the mountains that tower in the background protect from the northerly winds in the winter. In 1986, the WHO recommended the area as having one of the best climates on earth for health because it is not too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter. On average, Punta Prima has 325 sunny days a year. Or as our real estate agent at Costa Blanca expressed it: "This January, Landskrona had seven hours of sunshine, Stockholm 20 – here 10 a day.".
There are several new developments in Punta Prima, but in our opinion this is by far the most affordable. Buying newly built apartments at this price in an area like this is a unique opportunity for those who want to move to, or invest in, a home in the sun.
Incidentally, a new marina will be built in this area (expected to be completed in 2021) which will further increase the value of the homes over time.
