Huge rental potential
It is difficult to determine rental potential of a luxury house like this as this product is not available in Nerja. However, very close by is a house in a slightly worse location, which is slightly smaller and much older (but in okay condition). This is rented out around 40 weeks per year for an average weekly income of €2,300. This house therefore brings in approx. €92,000 per year. Another example is (an even larger house, but a good distance outside Nerja and not new) a larger luxury house towards Frigiliana which already in October had (this was at the beginning of the year, before the pandemic hit) an occupancy rate of 50% for 2020 and which had an average weekly cost of €4,600. For those who buy Villas Romana as a pure investment, there are several different ideas to explore. The potential is enormous as the pressure for this type of luxury house is very great on the international market. Costa del Sol is attracting more and more exclusive tourism, but the problem is the lack of luxury properties in central locations.
