This very charming terraced house (finca/country house) in the village of Salares is built into the Almijara mountain. The house has a lot of character and is perfect for those who want to live in a typical Spanish country environment. At the same time, it is close to everything. 40 minutes by car to the beaches of Torre del Mar, or 48 minutes to Nerja. It takes about an hour to get to the airport in Malaga.

The house has recently been renovated with the aim of making it more comfortable while at the same time it was important to maintain the unique character of the house, such as terracotta and cobblestone floors, wooden beams in the ceiling, fireplace, and more.

Salares is a very nice little village that creeps up towards the foot of the Almijara mountain, right on the border of the beautiful natural park. The large, double wooden door leads into a cozy living room that is packed with lively details. Three steps lead to the kitchen which has a built-in electric oven, gas and double sink.
On the upper floor, there is a small, enclosed terrace on the left and a bathroom with shower and bathtub on the right.
On this floor there is also a double bedroom with a wooden window overlooking the street in front of the house.
The house has two smaller bedrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. Both of these rooms are built into the rock with painted, irregular natural stone walls.
In the house there is also another small terrace with a view of the village and the countryside.
