Buying a villa in Spain? Now is the time!

[update 2014, January, read more about the state of the housing market in Spain .]

The Spanish villa market has long been very popular with investors. However, the financial turmoil of 2008 onwards, the crash of the Spanish housing market, and competition from other countries, such as Thailand, resulted in the previously red-hot Spanish housing market cooling down considerably. But then prices fell, and then the Euro fell.

Since August 2012, expressions of interest and sales to Swedes have increased. 2013 was a very strong year and set the tone for 2014, which began with pure hysterical interest (300 percent increase compared to the same period last year).

Prices are no longer pushed down on the market and in line with the increased interest, the price will soon also increase (especially if the world economy stabilizes further in the coming autumn and winter). At least on the attractive objects.

Not even the prices of bank objects will fall further. However, many properties on the Spanish market will probably fall further during the year, but these are properties located in, for Swedes, not so attractive areas (and it is more about apartment complexes than villas).

The reason for the generally low prices is simply that when so many homes are sitting empty, the Spanish developers and home owners have to offer better prices to attract customers. We at Spanska Fastigheter continuously start collaborations with major British real estate agents, major Spanish banks and intermediaries. We also have a couple of our own projects underway in collaboration with, among others, our Spanish lawyer.

We can therefore offer thousands of homes in the popular parts of Andalusia and the Costa Blanca at very good prices. We also have exclusive rights to the majority of villas, which means that we also have brokers who represent us in the Benelux countries, France (the French's interest in Spain is record high due to new tax rules), etc. because the number of Swedish buyers is not large enough.

When the housing market was at its most desperate, it came with various bonuses on several objects. For example, you could be offered to buy a villa , or apartment , and get a car included in the purchase, or a fully equipped kitchen, or a garage. These bonuses, and other lures are still used by some players but we would be suitable for these offers though. If the house or villa is not attractive enough without bait, it may be time to suspect that something is not right.

We continuously update our various info pages with more information about what we offer through our partners, so keep your eyes open for more really great offers from us! We will continue to post axplock in our category for objects . However, we would like to emphasize that we have access to the large database with thousands of homes. Please contact info@spanskafastigheter.se for more information about what you are looking for, and where.
