The reason for the price is that the owner needs to sell quickly. This sharp price reduction is not representative of the market as a whole. In fact, the first half of the year was the best in the last 15 years. In the first half of 2022, a record was broken in the number of foreign buyers in Spain. 53% more compared to the previous year. Most analysts now expect that the increases will stop for a while, not that prices will drop significantly. The Spanish housing market is in a completely different situation than the Swedish one. However, more of this type of submerged object will probably come out as several home owners have postponed their sales due to the pandemic, and think they have waited long enough to sell.

About rental:

  • The salt water pool gives the apartments a unique advantage in the rental market in Nerja as many are in demand, but there are no larger ones in the most popular areas for rental.
  • The quiet and nice location, about five minutes outside the center, near the sea is also in demand.
  • Above all, there is a great demand to be able to rent something newly built and fresh in Nerja, but there are very few newly built properties in the city. Especially homes that meet this high standard.
  • Popular area for vacationers. It's only a 15-20 minute walk to beautiful Restinga beach which is the westernmost part of Playazo beach. You can then walk along the beach to central Nerja. There are several restaurants and bars in and near Ladera. Among other things, the reputable Avalon restaurant.
