We worked hard with Spanska Fastigheter during the autumn of 2008 and 2009 despite a record weak economic starting point due to the global financial crisis. However, this did not stop our ambition to become the best internet broker of homes in the south of Spain.
Regardless of the day of the week or time of the day, we worked tirelessly to find new partners and filed on our basic idea that we should be able to offer really good housing for everyone, regardless of the size of the wallet, who is looking for a place to live in Spain. Everything from cave houses, apartments in an urban environment to beach villas and large hotel complexes for the investor. Unique concepts such as hire purchase were introduced during the same period.
And as so many times before, it proved that hard work pays off. Despite the dark situation, we started to receive a steady stream of expressions of interest.
In the autumn of 2009, we received proper recognition from the industry, namely from SIME Rising Stars of the North, which is called the "Oscar of the Internet world". According to this prestigious organization, Spanska Fastigheter is considered to be one of the 150 hottest future companies operating on the Internet in the Nordics. Among other successful companies that were also selected to be included in the pool before the final thinning, the giant Spotify , which during the year revolutionized the music industry with its free service. There were also real heavyweights who sponsored SIME, such as the City of Stockholm, E24, SVD, Audi and the International Herald Tribune.
Previous years' winners include Hitta.se and Google . We were therefore very happy and proud of this nomination, and have since worked hard to become even better.
We think it's great fun that there are heavyweights in the industry who believe in us, but the most important thing is that you continue to believe in us ! That you believe in our goal to find the best possible accommodation based on your wishes!
