The Valle de Lecrin has defined seasons and during the summer it is less humid and hot than further down the Costa Tropical, and in the winter it is warmer than further towards the Sierra Nevada. The smell of citrus trees follows you wherever you go most of the year!
Thanks to the area not yet seeing a large influx of tourism, it is still very affordable to settle or buy a holiday home here! The new motorway makes the villages in the valley even more attractive to those looking to invest in the perfect Spanish holiday home.
